The brief was to create a capsule collection to sit within the Green People range, which was to be a celebration of founder Charlotte Vohtz’s ‘Nordic Roots’ – ‘Pure, conscious skin care infused with natural and organic Nordic active ingredients.’
Green People contacted us looking for some third-party design insight into creating a fresh, new identity for this new range.
Having had the pleasure of working with Charlotte on other projects we had begun to understand her style and favoured design aesthetic – minimalist, sleek and informative. We took inspiration from this to create a minimalist monochrome palette for Nordic Roots with pops of bold colour to reference the key ingredients.
The typography is clear and informative – highlighting the many product functions without overwhelming the packaging. We also developed a brand stamp to be used on the top of the boxes stating ‘Nature & science in balance’ – to reference the brilliant fusion of Green People’s scientific skincare expertise and focus on sustainable, powerful natural ingredients.
